SILVER ALERT for missing 81-year-old Houston man canceled

HOUSTON – A Silver Alert which was issued for a 81-year-old Houston man has been canceled after the man was found dead on Friday.
The alert was issued for 81-year-old Nicolas Lestrer. Officials say Lestrer had last been seen walking in the Briar Forest area on Westmere Drive on the city’s west side.
On Friday, Tim Miller with Texas Equusearch told KPRC 2 Lestrer was found dead in Buffalo Bayou, not far from his home.
