Elderly woman injured after being bitten by aggressive rottweiler multiple times in northwest Houston

An elderly woman is receiving medical treatment after she was attacked by a rottweiler while walking her dog in northwest Houston.
The attack happened Monday evening in the 5900 block of Oakmoss Trail.
Upon arriving to the scene, deputies learned that the woman had been bitten on both arms.
She was taken to a nearby urgent care center for further evaluation. The investigation into the attack is ongoing.
The Harris Count Pct. 4 Constable’s Office wants to remind residents to please keep their dogs leashed up when in public spaces to ensure everyone’s safety.
