Gas line break prompts closure on Texas Avenue in League City

LEAGUE CITY, Texas – Emergency crews are responding to a gas line break in League City on Friday afternoon.

League City Police officers and firefighters are at the scene of the gas line break on Texas Avenue.

The road will be closed between Power Street and Maria Street.

The gas company has been notified and has sent a crew to repair the line.

No evacuations have been issued in the area.
