FOUND: 12-year-old Capri Newsome confirmed safely located after reported missing in Houston

A 12-year-old girl is missing after she reportedly ran away from home late Tuesday afternoon.

Capri Newsome was last seen on Tuesday, April 1, at approximately 4:42 p.m. in the 2000 block of Spears Road, Houston. Capri was last seen with another missing child, Anaya Bell.

At the time of her disappearance, Capri was wearing a red polo shirt and black pants and was carrying a black mesh backpack. She may also be wearing her glasses.

Authorities urge anyone who has seen Capri or may know her whereabouts to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit at 713-755-7427.
