Man hit, killed by train near Lake Houston in Atascocita

ATASCOCITA, Texas – A man is dead after being hit by a train in Atascocita.

The Atascocita Fire Department says it happened near Lake Houston, on the railroad tracks that run between the Walden on Lake Houston and Bridges on Lake Houston subdivisions.

The track has temporarily been closed to traffic, according to the fire department.
