SPRING, Texas – Technology company Hewlett Packard Enterprise has announced they will be laying off roughly 5 percent of its global workforce over the next 12-18 months.
The company said this equals approximately 2,500 positions.
The layoffs come as part of cost-saving measures the company says it will undertake to strengthen their financial profile by better aligning their cost structure to their business mix and long-term strategy.
The strategy aims to save at least $350 million by fiscal year 2027.
