Man follows couple, shoots them after argument in northwest Houston

HOUSTON – A couple was shot Monday afternoon after being followed from an apartment complex in northwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The shooting was reported around 4:30 p.m. at a McDonald’s parking lot, located at 10400 Northwest Freeway.

Police said several people got into an argument at an apartment complex. The man and woman drove to the McDonald’s where police say the gunman followed them and shot them.

Both were taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition but expected to survive, according to HPD.
