U-Haul driver injured after crashing into side of southwest Houston home

The driver of a U-Haul truck is recovering from their injuries after crashing into a house in southwest Houston Tuesday night.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on Winleman Street around 9 p.m. According to reports, the driver of the U-Haul collided with another vehicle before crashing into the side of the home, leaving a huge hole.
Police said the driver of the U-Haul was treated for injuries on the scene and then transported to the hospital, but is expected to be okay.

According to authorities, residents were home at the time of the crash but were not injured.
