Man dead after crash into tree in NW Houston

HOUSTON – A man is dead after crashing into a tree in northwest Houston Sunday.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. at 1546 Antoine Drive in the Spring Branch area.
Houston Police say the man was driving a car northbound on Antoine when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway, striking a tree.
The man was the only person in the car and he died at the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
