The victims, identified as Eddie Gomez, 17, Jonathan Hernandez, 17, and Juan Trejo Sandoval, 23, were found with gunshot wounds.

Officers from the Houston Police Department arrived to discover Gomez and Hernandez unresponsive in the complex’s laundry room, where they were pronounced dead by paramedics.

Sandoval, located just outside the laundry room, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital but was also later pronounced dead.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective L. Brooks, an initial investigation revealed that a dispute broke out in the laundry room between two groups, ultimately escalating to gunfire.

Sandoval is currently held in the Harris County Jail.

During Sandoval’s court appearance on Wednesday, his bond was denied. His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 11.
