Child hospitalized after being bitten by pit bull in Spring

SPRING, Texas – A child has been taken to a hospital after being bitten by a dog in Spring.

The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office said deputies responded to the 5600 block of Golden Grove Drive for an aggressive animal call.

Deputies were told that a pit bull had bitten a child on the face, ankle, and thigh.

EMS arrived on the scene and transported the child to the hospital.

There is no word on what happened to the dog, but the constable’s office says the owner of the dog was cited for the incident.
