Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run in southeast Houston

A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash while riding his bike in southeast Houston late last night.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of the Gulf Freeway and Dixie Farm Road.

According to the Houston Police Department , the man was struck by a vehicle while cycling in the area. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
HPD officers are urging anyone with information about the crash to come forward. They are asking witnesses to contact 911 or Crime Stoppers to assist in identifying the driver involved.
