It happened on the Sam Houston feeder Rd. just north of Richmond and Rogerdale. in west Houston a little after 11 p.m. That’s where investigators say an unidentified officer with the Houston Police Department was going through the intersection when another driver ran a red light and crashed into her patrol car.
We’re told the officer had her lights and sirens on when she was driving.
Officers looked through the area and found the striking vehicle, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
