This is not the first time the suspect has been involved in such crimes; on July 21 he was arrested for stealing an ambulance that was left idling in a hospital parking lot.

At that time, he was already out on a misdemeanor bond for criminal trespass in Harris County.

KPRC 2 has reached out for Bernard’s mugshot.
