Missing 4-year-old’s body found under water at Twin Lakes in Manvel

MANVEL, Texas – Authorities made a gruesome discovery Tuesday night in Manvel, where a family is mourning.

According to police, officers were called to Twin Lakes for reports of a missing child. Using drones and a ground search, authorities combed the area to find the child and after exhausting their efforts, the Houston Police Department’s Dive Team was called to assist.

That’s where officials found a 4-year-old boy’s body. It’s unclear how the child got there but Manvel PD said they do not suspect any foul play.
