Fugitive charged with murder arrested in Splendora

A woman wanted by international police on murder charges is now behind bars after being arrested in Splendora.
Leo Acosta Sanchez was captured after officers with Splendora Police Department identified her while performing routine traffic patrol. She was undocumented and known to travel in the area. When her identity was confirmed, additional police arrived, and she was detained.
She was wanted internationally for crimes including murder.
Splendora PD announced the arrest on its Facebook page:
