HOUSTON – Authorities are piecing together where a child’s parents were after a little boy was found wandering the roadway in Spring early Tuesday morning.
Details are limited, as it’s an active investigation, but officials with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office say they first received a call for a “welfare check” on Cypresswood Dr. and Cypresswood Heights.

That’s where constable deputies say a caller told them she found a young child wandering alone wearing a black shirt and red shorts.
It’s unclear why the child was by himself, but investigators sent a mass announcement while searching for his parents.
A little before 8:30 a.m., deputy constables confirmed the boy’s parents were found, but did not share any additional details, but said an investigation remains underway.
