Mother shoots son during argument over wrecked vehicle in Sunnyside

Houston Police are investigating after a woman shot her son early Saturday morning after he allegedly attacked her during an argument in Sunnyside.

It happened in the 9500 block of Fairland Drive. Investigators say the two were arguing over him wrecking her vehicle.

The adult son had a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to a local hospital. The mother is cooperating with HPD.
