“We were very clear that anyone who visits violence upon the residents and visitors of Baytown will be identified, arrested, and brought to justice.’ These were not hollow words. The professionals of the Baytown Police Department have spent the last 15 months investigating every lead, every possibility, utilizing all partnerships and resources currently available. Today, we can announce that we have made good on that promise. The individuals connected with the murder of Shane Hamilton have been identified and arrested. We cannot overstate that our citizens deserve a safe community, and anyone who commits such acts in our city will be brought to justice,” the department said in a statement.
