Man detained after woman shot at NW Harris County apartment complex

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man has been detained after authorities say a woman was shot at a northwest Harris County apartment complex Wednesday.

It happened at the Windfern apartment complex at 13035 Windfern Road. Law enforcement was called just before 4 p.m.

According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, a medical helicopter has responded to the scene and the road is shut down by emergency crews.

Constable deputies have a man detained and the scene is under investigation.
