Eastbound lanes of Katy Freeway reopen after major crash involving motorcycle

HOUSTON – The eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway have reopened after a major crash involving a motorcycle and an 18-wheeler Sunday.

Houston Transtar cameras showed emergency vehicles blocking the roadway and a medical helicopter at the scene. The helicopter has since left.

The lanes have just opened up and vehicles are starting to get through.

The condition of the people involved in the crash is currently unknown.
