‘An amazing morning’: KPRC 2 team attends Houston Rodeo parade

HOUSTON – We enjoyed seeing you at the Houston Rodeo parade on Saturday.

These are our KPRC 2 team members who rode in the parade: Andy Cerota, Gage Goulding, Corley Peel, Robert Arnold, and Keith Garvin.

A few lucky KPRC 2 insiders also rode in the same wagon as our team.

“What an amazing morning! It was great to be hanging out with our KPRC 2 Insiders at such a fun event. This is the official kickoff of Rodeo Houston and we couldn’t be more excited. Big thanks to the KPRC 2 Storm Tracking team for a wonderful forecast. Not a cloud was in the sky for the parade, just sunshine and smiles,” KPRC 2′s Gage Goulding said.

We truly enjoyed seeing Houstonian’s excitement and saying hello to everyone.

We were able to see Howdy, several marching bands, charros, and the Buc-ee’s mascot.

There were many interesting floats including a large float of a bull and plenty of dancing horses. We saw firetrucks, and officials riding horses like Houston Police Chief Troy Finner and Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

We’re excited for the rodeo to begin on Tuesday and to try all the flavorful Texas food.
