2 dead, 3 hospitalized after major crash in west Houston

HOUSTON – Police said two people have died and three others have been transported to hospitals after a major crash in west Houston Sunday.
Authorities said it happened in the 6300 block of Richmond Avenue, at the intersection of Unity Drive just after 8 p.m.
Police have the roadway blocked off as they investigate.
Other details of the crash are limited at this time.
