HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A FedEx 18-wheeler was engulfed in flames during a crash on the West Grand Parkway South Monday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of West Grand Parkway South near Katy regarding the crash around 7:44 a.m.

All of the northbound lanes of the highway have been reopened after they were closed due to the incident.

Hazmat officials h clean up the scene.

There were black burn marks on the back part of the truck and holes.

The roof of the front part of the truck was also removed, and the front suffered serious damage from the fire.
