Man found shot to death in Montgomery County driveway

WILLIS, Texas – A man was found shot to death in the driveway of a house in Montgomery County on Friday, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and Willis Police Department officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Rebecca Drive at about 11:40 p.m. due to an assault with a firearm.

Once deputies arrived, they found 22-year-old Roberto Aguilar lying in the driveway. He had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead.

Deputies did not share other details about the shooting or the suspect. This shooting is still being investigated.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Roberto Aguilar’s family and friends as they navigate this unimaginable loss. We will continue to provide updates as the investigation progresses,” the sheriff’s office said.
