Opening its doors on Jan. 17 at 2359 S Shepherd, this marks Layne’s second home in Houston and the 11th feather in their cap across the Lone Star State.

Masroor Fatany, who operates seven The Halal Guys locations, is the culinary captain steering this Layne’s ship into the Inner Loop.

“I am thrilled to be opening another Layne’s in Houston,” exclaimed Fatany in a press release. “The simple menu has been thriving post-pandemic, and the brand has retained its young audience. It’s a cluckin’ good time to be part of Layne’s!”

And what’s the buzz about their menu? Picture this: a three-finger chicken sandwich on Texas toast, a fried chicken club sandwich with bacon and cheddar – these aren’t just sandwiches; they’re handheld pieces of heaven. And of course, the star of the show – chicken fingers served with sauces so addictive they should come with a warning label. Buttermilk ranch, honey mustard, BBQ, and Layne’s special tangy creation that’s the Beyoncé of sauces.

Samir Wattar, Layne’s Chief Operating Officer, shared his excitement about this clucking fantastic journey, “We’re thrilled to have connected with Masroor. This is another great step for the Layne’s Chicken Finger system.”
