Man found dead in shed after fire believed to be caused by space heater in Wharton No description found
WHARTON, Texas – A man was found dead inside a shed that was fully engulfed in flames after a fire broke out early Saturday morning in Wharton.
The Wharton Police Department said the fire happened at 517 Breitling Lane early Saturday.
Crews arrived to find a rear shed on fire. They found a man, identified as Erasmo Don Juan, 67, of Wharton, dead inside the shed.
Authorities believe a space heater being used within the structure led to the deadly fire.
The investigation is ongoing.
