Surveillance video helps detectives find 2 men accused of stealing over $12K worth of items from Conroe residence

CONROE, Texas – Two men were caught on camera stealing multiple tools and dirt bikes from a residence in Conroe on Dec. 20, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 3 Patrol Division.

The burglary was reported at 2 p.m. at a residence, located in the 20000 block of Old Houston Road.

The surveillance video showed the men taking the items worth over $12,000 before leaving the area in a light blue Kia Sedona.

On Dec. 22, the owner of the property reported the burglary to the Sheriff’s Office and advised that he located the suspected Kia with two men who also matched the suspects’ description.

When detectives arrived and questioned the men, who were identified as Shane Null, 38, and Ronnie Rogers, 52, both of Porter. During the interview, Rogers and Null both confessed to the burglary and provided information about the location of the stolen property, which was eventually returned to its owner.

They were both taken into custody and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

Null was charged with burglary of a building and possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $24,500.

Rogers, was identified as a habitual offender, was charged with burglary of a building. His bond was set at $50,000.
