According to police, the first incident happened in the 4400 block of Bettis Drive at about 10:55 a.m. on Dec. 9.

In that incident, a 63-year-old man said he was walking in the alleyway behind a business when the suspect, armed with a knife, approached him from behind and stabbed him in the face. The man said the woman then walked away without saying anything.

The man was transported to a hospital.

In another incident which happened at about 2:20 p.m. at 4323 San Felipe Street, a 30-year-old man said he was walking to his vehicle in the parking lot when he was struck in the right side of his head by a sharp object carried by a woman who approached him from behind. Just like in the first incident, the woman walked away without saying anything following the assault.

The man was treated for his injury at the scene.
