Jevin Allen, 17, and Jarrick Allen, 22, were charged with assault of a public servant after hitting a Willis Independent School District coach, who has not been identified.

The team had just returned to the school after playing against Conroe High School. Jevin had been benched during the game due to his behavior toward a member of the other team. The coach said this infuriated Jevin and his family.

Once the team returned to the school, the coach first went inside and later went outside to the parking lot. He then found Jevin and his family.

They got into a verbal argument, and Jevin allegedly punched the coach in the face. Authorities said Jarrick then also started hitting the coach.

Another coach and bystanders saw what was happening and tried to break up the fight. The two suspects then fled from the location.

Deputies looked at surveillance video and determined the two brothers were the suspects. The coach also had injuries in his head, neck, face, and arms.

Officials later found the two suspects, and they were arrested. They were taken to the Montgomery County Jail and were released after they each paid a $23,000 bond.
