‘One in a melon’: Houston Zoo’s sea lion Cali celebrates 19th birthday with watermelon ice cake

HOUSTON – One in a melon! That is what the Houston Zoo calls Cali.
The zoo took to Facebook to share what they and Cali did for the sea lion’s 19th birthday.
The zoo said Cali’s animal care team celebrated by making her one of her favorites, a watermelon ice cake.
“Cali is sweet in nature and very fond of interacting with her keepers,” the zoo said on Facebook.
