Boy flown to hospital after being kicked by horse (Brazoria Fire Department)
BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas – A five-year-old boy was airlifted to a Houston hospital after being kicked in the head by a horse in Brazoria County Sunday.
It happened north of Brazoria, near Wild Peach Village.

The Brazoria Fire Department said they were contacted at approximately 1:44 p.m. Sunday to help establish a landing zone for a helicopter by West Brazos EMS.
The helicopter landed safely and transported the boy to Memorial Hermann - Downtown.
According to Scott Parker, public information officer for the Brazoria Fire Department, the boy is alive and doctors are confident he will survive, but faces a long road to recovery.
