HOUSTON – A segment of I-10 East frontage road near Wayside Drive is closed as crews repair a roadway that was buckled due to the heat.
The damage was reported at 8 p.m. Monday, according to TxDOT.

Sky 2 was over the area Tuesday morning as crews repair the road.
Crews are asking drivers to detour to the mainlanes of I-10 East. The entrance ramp to I-10 East from Wayside is closed at this time.
It’s not clear when repairs will be finished.
