Field Trip Friday: Sugar Land Arts Fest bringing culture, wine and fun to Houston area

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Are you a lover of art, wine, music, and entertainment? If you answered yes, this may be an event you don’t want to miss.

Families can enjoy and experience art at the first-ever Sugar Land Arts Festival this weekend.

The Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation is hosting the two-day event Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24 at the plaza outside the Smart Financial Centre.

It’s celebrating artistic talent and heritage through artwork, music and dance.

This festival features art forms such as contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, glass art, mixed media art, woodworking, and jewelry created by more than 100 local and regional artists.

It’s open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 24.
