Video: Employee shot during robbery at general store in northeast Houston, police say

HOUSTON – Surveillance video of a robbery where two store employees were held at gunpoint on March 30 was released in hopes someone will identify the suspects involved, according to the Houston Police Department.

The aggravated robbery was reported around 9:15 p.m. at a general store, located in the 3100 block of Collingsworth Street.

Houston police said two male suspects walked into the store, where one of them pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cash registers. The second suspect can be seen walking around the counter and made demands for the money. As the the two employees were attempting to open the register, the gunman shot the male employee in the leg.

Police said the suspects removed a small amount of money from the register and fled the scene.

Crime Stoppers is offering to pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
