Video shows vehicle involved in fatal shooting of man during meetup in southwest Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON – A man was shot to death Saturday night during a possible robbery in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The shooting was reported at 6:15 p.m. in the 8400 block of Hearth Dr., near NRG Stadium.

When officers responded to the shooting, they found a 39-year-old man dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators said at this time there is no known motive, and three unknown suspects are believed to have been involved.

On Wednesday, HPD released surveillance video of a vehicle that was involved in the shooting. Further investigation revealed that the victim planned to meet the suspects at the address, but when the suspects arrived, they immediately shot the man and fled the scene.
