Major rollover crash on I-45 Gulf Freeway feeder road leaves 1 dead, police say

Authorities investigate after one person is dead in a rollover crash (KPRC)

HOUSTON – All feeder lanes of the I-45 Gulf Freeway headed northbound have been closed as police investigate a fatal rollover crash involving a white pickup truck.

Officers responded to a crash in the 12200 block of Gulf Freeway near Almeda Genoa Road when witnesses told police the truck flipped over several times from the northbound lane of the highway and landed in the middle of the feeder road.

One person died at the scene, according to authorities.

It was unclear how the truck crashed or if other vehicles were involved.

No other injuries were reported.
