‘Just a city kitty on the prowl’: India the missing Houston tiger has his own Twitter account

HOUSTON – Remember the tiger that went missing earlier this week in Houston?

The animal’s location remains unknown and authorities are still searching for it after the man who was last seen with it bonded out of jail on Wednesday.

There’s no sign yet of the big cat named India -- except on Twitter. Though the situation remains a serious one, someone is having a little fun with the idea of a tiger on the loose, with a Twitter account now created for the animal.

The account, @HoustonTiger6, is identified as a parody account with hilarious tweets, references and gif responses related to the tiger.

The account has 30 followers as of Thursday and the bio reads: “Just a city kitty on the prowl.”
