Nicole Truelove told KPRC2 last week that Johnson, a four-time felon, hid behind a door, attacked and raped her.

"(He) Grabbed me by my hair and slammed me up against the back of my classroom door," she said.

The Windham School District teacher said she was left alone in her classroom with a violent inmate and that there were no prison guards or cameras in the area.

Truelove said it happened after she wrote him up for touching himself in class.

Johnson was serving a 13-year sentence for burglary of a habitation in Victoria County.

He faces up to life in prison if convicted of aggravated sexual assault.

The Special Prosecution Unit will be investigating the case.
