This is the story behind that viral Dan Crenshaw watch party moment captured by KPRC2 cameras

HOUSTON – A tweet showing a woman throwing up her hand after a man spoke to her at the Dan Crenshaw watch party Tuesday night has gone viral.

Some wondered what he said to her. 

The tweet -- featuring footage from the KPRC2 Election Night coverage -- has gone viral with more than 2 million views.

Without context, it appeared that the man said something offensive to the woman, leading her to walk away in disgust. 

A Twitter profile that appears to be hosted by the young woman seen in the video said the man was her dad and that he said something about a woman he wanted to date.
