8 puppies found abandoned in bag of dog food on roadside near Willowbrook Mall No description found
HARRIS COUNTY – Eight puppies were found abandoned inside of a bag of dog food on the side of a highway near Willowbrook Mall Thursday morning.
The puppies were taken by a Good Samaritan to North Houston Veterinary Specialists, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner's specialty and emergency hospital for pets.
The puppies appear to be in good health, but will remain at NHVS for the next 24 hours under observation, veterinarians said. Once they are medically cleared, they will be turned over to Abandoned Animal Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving abandoned animals.
