According to court documents, Allison, a second grade teacher at Landis Elementary School, struck a student on Oct. 12.

After a review of surveillance video, police said Allison and the child were seen in the hallway while the child was getting his backpack. Allison is seen on the video grabbing the student's hand as he struggles to get away. As they made their way down the hallway, Allison is seen grabbing the student's hand and is also seen holding the student in his upper back near his neck, according to court documents.

Allison then struck the child, who is under the age of 15, with a closed fist on the right side of his face, according to court documents.

Allison then forced the child to the ground and sat on top of him, according to court documents.

When administrators began to arrive, they told Allison to get off the student. Administrators clearly saw Allison's knee in the student's back, according to court documents.

Allison was immediately placed on administrative leave when the allegations were brought to the attention of campus and district administrators. She will not return.
