Investigators said Smith and Ware got into an argument and Ware walked away and got into his truck. Smith followed Ware and then shot him several times as his children watched, investigators said.

Smith was also wanted by the Houston Police Department on a murder charge stemming from a Dec. 27 homicide in the 8300 block of Veterans Memorial Drive.

Harris County deputies said in a tweet that U.S. Marshals arrested Smith in Wenona, Georgia, where he was booked into the county jail and is awaiting extradition to Harris County.
