HOUSTON – An intern for U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee is accused of posting private information about several United States senators.

According to Capitol police, 27-year-old Jackson Cosko is accused of posting private, identifying information online about several Republican senators.

It allegedly happened during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings.

The posts included private information about Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, as well as Utah Sens. Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee.

KPRC2 reached out to Sheila Jackson Lee's office for comment, but so far, her office has not returned the calls.

In an article published in Politico.com, her chief of staff said, "Cosko has been working as an intern in the office of Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas and has been fired." He added, "We're just cooperating with law enforcement right now."

Cosko is due in federal court Thursday.
