Bentley searched after man shot in head during possible robbery outside Centerfolds strip club

HOUSTON – A man is in critical condition Thursday after a robbery outside a southwest Houston strip club.

Police said the shooting happened near the parking lot of Centerfolds in the 6100 block of Richmond Avenue around 4:45 a.m.

Police said the driver of the Bentley was leaving the back parking lot of Centerfolds and turned on to Greenridge Drive. A woman in passenger seat told police that a man wearing a mask ran up to driver's side of car and demanded money form the driver.

The robber shot the man multiple times then demanded money from the woman, to which she did, police said.

Police said the robber then ran and got in to a nearby car. She was not able to tell police what vehicle the robber used to leave the scene. The victim, a 45-year-old man, was alive as of Thursday afternoon.

Video showed a convertible Bentley with its driver's side door open and investigators looking inside.
