1 shot, 1 stabbed during argument in SW Houston parking lot, police say

HOUSTON – One man was shot and another man stabbed during an argument in a southwest Houston parking lot, police said.

The shooting was reported at 2:05 p.m. at Braeswood Atrium apartment complex in the 8800 block of South Braeswood Boulevard at Sapling Way.

Houston police said the shooting victim was hit nine times. Police said the man was taken to a hospital and his condition is unknown.

The stabbing victim still had the knife in him when he was taken to the hospital, detectives said. His condition is also unknown.

Three witnesses fled the scene, police said.
