Kempner HS student hit by vehicle driven by teen near campus, authorities say

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – A Kempner High School student was struck by a vehicle near campus Monday, according to Fort Bend County authorities.

The student was struck by a vehicle being driven by a 16-year-old, authorities said.

The driver stopped at the scene.

There is no word on the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The 17-year-old girl was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
