Police said that officers responded to the 5000 block of Paige Street about 12:50 a.m. Jan. 11, where they found Finner lying in the street.

Investigators said neighbors tried to render aid to Finner, but he died at the scene.

Breed is awaiting extradition to Houston, police said.

A mugshot of Breed was not immediately released.
