1 killed in boat crash on Lake Conroe No description found
MONTGOMERY, Texas – One person was killed Friday morning when a boat crashed on Lake Conroe.
The crash was reported about 1 a.m. at Diamondhead on the south side of the lake.
According to officials, three people were taking a midnight cruise on the lake when the boat crashed into a barrier around a jetty. A man was thrown into the water and was taken to Conroe Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
