MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Deputies found methamphetamine and a gun after a vehicle was pulled over for speeding Wednesday just before 6 p.m.
The Montgomery County Constable Precinct 4 Office said deputies made a traffic stop on a silver Ford F150 that was speeding on the northbound feeder road of Highway 59 just before East River Road in Splendora.

Deputies said an investigation found 122 grams of methamphetamine in baggies and a .380 semi-automatic handgun.
The driver, Nathan Wells, 34, and a passenger, Jennifer Dayton, 26, both of Cleveland, Texas, were arrested and charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony.
